Gilbert residents can now use their smartphones to report neighbors for overgrown weeds, barking dogs and excessive baby-sitting
with a new "app" developed by town officials. The "myGilbert" app launched recently in the iTunes App Store and is also available
for Android phones. The free app, the first to be released by the town, allows residents to interact with Town Hall by reporting
code violations and includes contact information for the Town Council, town manager and departments.

If you're tired of looking over your shoulder and losing sleep at night because there's a Kingman Municipal Court arrest warrant
with your name on it, this is your chance to get it taken care of without going to jail. Court officials have decided to publish all
outstanding warrants during the months of February, March and April in an effort to reduce the numbers of active warrants, Municipal
Court Judge Kathy McCoy said. During this time, people with active warrants will not be taken to jail if they voluntarily appear.

Recently, the New York Times featured the town of Tusayan and proposals from investors for a huge development of hotels,
restaurants, stores and other amenities. According to the New York Times, "The proposed development by the Stilo Group has
set new standards for ambition or, depending on one's view recklessness. The tug-of-war over the development, which has been going
on for two decades, has brought together businesses executives and builders, conservationists, the National Park Service, Indian

On February 22, CNN hosted the Republican presidential candidates' debate at the Mesa Arts Center. The Arizona Republic
said that, "Arizona shined on the national stage for what appears to be the Republic presidential candidates' final debate before
Super Tuesday." Downtown Mesa starred on national TV all week with CNN anchors using the Mesa Arts Center as a set and City Hall as
a backdrop. Observers said Arizona pulled off a pivotal performance worthy of an encore.

Scottsdale's Granite Reef Senior Center recently captured NuStep's prestigious Pinnacle Award. The award is annually presented to
the most outstanding senior center in the United States that best demonstrates a culture of whole-person wellness and
active aging throughout its organization. The award was presented to the center by NuStep's Vice President Steve Sarns on Monday,
January 30th.
