During the NLC Conference, the ASU School of Public Affairs will host a Financial Markets Boot Camp for Public Officials on
Saturday, March 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The boot camp is intended to assist local elected, appointed and administrative
officials understand the dynamics and risks of increasingly complex public sector financial transactions. The program will feature
several experts from the finance industry and public sector, including the program's keynote speaker, Joshua Gotbaum, Director of

Byers from the National Association of Counties, and will feature panelists from several counties. The training is open to all
