Regional Tree & Shade Summit

Scheduled for March 9 in downtown Phoenix, The Regional Tree & Shade Summit will bring together municipal, nonprofits and private-sector professionals for a one-day meeting to address the growing importance of regional tree & shade plans and green infrastructure to the long-term sustainability and success of our communities. The program will also include a keynote address from Mark Buscaino, the Executive Director for Casey Trees, an innovative nonprofit that is focused on the enhancement and protection of trees and forests within the District of Columbia. The Summit is funded by a grant from the State of Arizona Forestry Division-Urban & Community Forestry and planning efforts are provided by the Sustainable Cities Network and the cities of Glendale, Mesa and Phoenix.
