New League Executive Committee and Officers
New members of the League Executive Committee and officers were selected by members at the annual conference last week in
Scottsdale.
Outgoing League President and Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell was recognized for his service at the League's Annual Business Meeting
during the Annual Conference.
Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny was elected to serve as the next League President.
Lake Havasu City Mayor Mark Nexsen will serve as vice president and Maricopa Mayor Christian Price will serve as treasurer.
The League is governed by a 25-member Executive Committee made up of mayors and councilmembers from incorporated cities and towns across the state. Officers and
members of the Executive Committee are elected for two-year overlapping terms.
The following officials were elected to two-year terms on the Executive Committee:
