This city's unique holiday tradition began in 1957, when residents helped gather tumbleweeds to stack in formation as a Christmas tree. The tradition of the
tumbleweed tree continues today, with members of the city's parks division gathering nearly 1,000 tumbleweeds annually to adorn the 25-foot tall frame.
