ASU Annual Public Finance Conference: Understanding Options and Disclosure Requirements for Local Governments

Arizona State University's School of Public Affairs and the Center for Urban Innovation present its third Annual Public Finance Conference. This national conference brings together practitioners and public officials from across the United States to examine core principles of municipal finance focusing on current priorities, perspectives, deal structures and best practices attendees can take back to their home communities for implementation.

Guest speakers and work sessions will address a range of municipal finance issues confronting today's finance officers, managers and elected officials.

Some of this year's topics will include:

GFOAz Quarterly Training: Government Finance Fundamentals

GFOAz is pleased to present its May quarterly training, "Fundamentals of Government Finance" on Thursday, May 15. The training will focus on the essentials of government finance; a perfect day of learning for those new to the profession or those looking to brush up on the basics.

Please see below for information from the ASU School of Public Affairs on graduate information sessions that are available.

Evening information sessions are scheduled in time for you to learn about our programs and still have time to apply for summer or fall. Topics covered include admissions, curriculum, and enrollment for our MPA, MPP, and graduate certificate programs. Advisors will be available to answer questions from interested potential students.

Now enrolling! New graduate certificates in participatory governance, policy informatics, public administration and public policy are accepting applications. Certificates consist of only five courses and are a great resume enhancement for current students or previous graduates from any discipline!
