Sustainability Solutions Services

Sustainability. It can easily become overwhelming.

That's why the Sustainability Solutions Services (S3), one of the Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives at ASU, has launched a suite of services specifically focused on helping local governments advance their sustainability efforts with practical and affordable solutions that provide value to your community and a higher quality of life for your residents.

To assist these efforts, S3 is offering up to four hours of complimentary facilitation to assist policymakers and/or staff to define your vision and priorities, and determine next steps on the road to sustainability for your community.

S3 builds bridges between local governments and interdisciplinary teams of ASU's sustainability faculty, researchers and students to collaborate on applied solutions leveraging ASU's expertise. Services range from tactical, such as facility benchmarking in Energy Star Portfolio Manager, to sustainability visioning, goal-setting and planning. Examples of work for local communities include:

City of Phoenix - Greenhouse Gas Inventory
(executive summary and full report)

Town of Gilbert - Energy Benchmarking

Energize Phoenix

Tempe Tree and Shade (underway)

SRP Bicycle Network Coordination
