First Things First Recruiting Regional Council

An Arizona organization is providing a unique, high-level opportunity that exists for individuals to make a positive impact on children and families in our community.

First Things First partners with parents and communities to give more Arizona children the tools they need to start school healthy and ready to succeed! Decisions about which early education, health and family support programs to fund are made by local regional councils comprised of community volunteers.

There are currently more than 150 seats open on First Things First regional councils statewide. The openings are for representatives of many fields including early education, health, business and philanthropy. Regional council members must have expertise in their area, and the passion, dedication and determination necessary to effect true change for our children.

If you are interested in being a voice for children in your community and helping to determine which early education, health and family support programs will be available to kids birth through age five in your community, please visit www.azftf.gov/serve.

Thank you for considering lending your time, expertise and vision to provide more opportunities for young children to get a strong start in life.
