perspectives, deal structures and best practices that attendees can take back to their home communities for implementation. Real solutions for real challenges.
Guest speakers and work sessions will address a range of municipal finance issues confronting today's finance officers, managers, and elected officials.
Some of this year's topics will include:

Are you prepared for the Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure requirements for municipal securities?
- Financing new technologies
Utilizing an array of financing tools to make your city a smart city
- Disclosure requirements and liability
Presentation by ratings agencies on their respective expectation from an issuer when it comes to frequency and content of disclosure
- Rating agency review
What they are looking for and why?
- How am I going to pay for THAT?
With aging infrastructure, what are the non-traditional borrowing options local governments might consider?
- Issuer's experience, an investor's view
Presentations by bond purchasers and what they expect from issuers given the current market climate
