Leadership Opportunities with National League of Cities
Apply for a leadership opportunity to help strengthen you, your community and other communities across the country.

Get more out of your membership at the National League of Cities by applying to be a part of a members- only committee or council. Your participation will provide you with exciting opportunities, such as:

  • Setting organizational policy on federal issues
  • Learning best practices
  • Networking with peers
  • Bringing your communities issues to the national spotlight
  • Access to regional, state and federal leaders

If you've been an active leader with the National League of Cities and would like to apply to be on the Board of Directors, you must apply by October 16. To apply for an appointment as a standing committee or council member, you must submit your application by November 22.
