You Are Invited to Take the Arizona Afterschool STEM Survey and Be Entered to Win a $250 Amazon Gift Card & More!
Afterschool, summer and out-of-school youth programs are all about what we can do to enrich the lives of the children and youth we serve. The
Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence (AzCASE) recently received a grant from
the Noyce Foundation to create a statewide plan for increasing STEM (science,
technology/computer, engineering/design, mathematics) opportunities in afterschool and out-of-school time programs.
A requirement of the grant is that we conduct a statewide survey to help us identify what program providers are currently using STEM activities in
their programs as well as what assistance providers need to expand their STEM related offerings. AzCASE respectfully asks that all afterschool,
summer and expanded learning program sites take the 15 minutes required to complete a short Afterschool STEM survey.
Our vision is to use the information you provide to create a plan for helping you and other providers increase the frequency and quality of STEM
learning experiences in out-of-school settings.
All program sites that respond by Wednesday, May 15 will be entered into a pool to receive one of four valuable prizes, including:
- $250 Amazon gift card
- $150 LEGO Education Simple and Motorized Mechanisms Base Set
- Lakeshore gift card
- Two free registrations to the 2013 Arizona Statewide Afterschool Conference
