Mayor Krieger Participates in Homeland Security Tour
Late last month, Mayor Krieger of Yuma participated in a Homeland Security Tour in El Paso, Texas, with Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Under
Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sanchez, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Alan Bersin, El Paso Mayor John Cook, Nogales

As part of this Homeland Security Tour, Mayor Krieger was also invited to speak in early April on a panel following a key note speech from Napolitano in
Washington, D.C. The address focused on the Administration's vision for a "21st Century Border," and also touched on the progress being made nationwide in
effectively enforcing U.S. immigration law, and the steps taken to ensure the strength and integrity of the entire immigration system. |
