Upcoming League Training

The League will host several trainings in 2011 on pertinent issues for city and town officials. Information on the next training, Cities and Towns Preparing for Medical Marijuana, is below.

Cities and Towns: Preparing for Medical Marijuana

With the passage of the Proposition 203, the Arizona Medical Marijuana Initiative, cities and towns must now be prepared to implement the new law.

This training will examine the intent of the initiative, what the language means from a city and town human resource perspective, the role of the Department of Health Services and how they will work with cities and towns, and how cities are preparing to comply with the new law.

Currently, this training is sold out but we will be audio recording it and putting it on the League website for those that could not attend in person. Additionally, we will also place all the handouts on the website to download.
